The eldest child of the late Arthur and Pearl Paradis, Archie was born in
Fort Kent, Maine, on April 16, 1937, Archie followed his father’s
footsteps into the woods of Maine as a logger. During tough times, the
family traveled south and began a new life in Chelsea, Massachusetts
where he met his future wife, June. and married on July 2, 1955.
Archie leaves behind June, his loving and devoted wife of almost 70
years and his children Wayne Paradis and his fiancée, Rebecca, Mark
Paradis and his wife Nancy, Alan Paradis and his wife Bethany, Stephen
Paradis and his wife, Stacey, and daughter Yvonne Miller and her
husband Chris, and son-in law Stanley of his late daughter Michelle as
well as his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he
loved dearly that put a sparkle in his eye.
Archie was loved and admired by all his brothers and sisters, along with
many nieces and nephews to carry on his legacy.
Archie, who was extremely family oriented, enjoyed attending an array
of get gatherings with family and friends, especially weddings and
reunions. He was famous for making sure he mailed out a birthday card
and of course the tradition of sending out Christmas cards every year.
There are so many memories of laughter, dancing to his favorite songs,
and sharing stories of the old days that will be etched in the hearts and
minds of all who knew him.
May we all cherish the memories, stories, and dance the night away in
the spring of 2025 for a Celebration of Life in honor of the one and only
