DanieI G. Thibodeau Rumford Daniel G. Thibodeau, 82 of Rumford, died July 22, 2025 in Norway, Maine? AIso known as “Grumpy” to alI the grandchildren” He was born in Rumford on January 19, 1943 the son of Gerald Joseph Thibodeau and May Vioiet Lucia Beaudet. He married Bonnie Bean on August 7,1971, They have one son Daniel S. Thibodeau and his fiancee Cathy Godwin of Woodstock; two grandchildren- Danielle Emily Thibodeau and Carter Daniel Thibodeau. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Rumford, son Daniel of Bryant Pond, and his Sister Sheila Kirby, a niece Crystal and nephew Jesse, all of Chicopee, Massachusetts. Predeceased by his parents and sisters Geraldine and Lucia. The first couple of years he attended a one room schoolhouse in Frye, Maine and then finished his education in Chicopee, MA. Daniel worked at Storms Drop Forging in Springfield Massachusetts and then when returning back to Maine he worked at Andover Wood Products until he retired in 2005, He always loved yellow labs, so after retirement he got his beloved Emma and Maggie? ln his younger years he enjoyed motorcycIes, fishing, pool and fourwheeiing. He enjoyed camp on North Pond in Woodstock, where he spent summers with his beloved wife and family. A celebration of life be held at camp North Pond on August 7th from lpm-5pm in Bryant Pond” Not only will it be celebrating his life but aIso their 54th wedding anniversay .
