Fernand Ferdinand Corriveau of Gilead, ME passed away peacefully at home Sunday, March 31, 2019 with his family by his side. He was born in St. Marcel Canada, February 9, 1939, the youngest son of Darie & Octavia Corriveau.
A man of many talents, Fernand was a driven entrepreneur. With the support of his wife & several sons, he jumped into the wood business with Fernand F. Corriveau Logging, followed by F&B Wood turning dowels. Later on Fernand tried his hand at generating power with Corriveau Hydro Electric. His hydro dam was located on the Swift River in Mexico ME. He also did trucking for hire throughout his vast career. Fernand faithfully served the Town of Gilead as a selectman for more than 30 years.
Fernand married Beverley Jane Robinson January 6, 1962. They had 10 children together. He is survived by two brothers, Dennis & Yvonne (Jack) Corriveau, his children Fernand Jr. & Holle Corriveau, Belissa & Timothy Green, Fredrick & Sue Corriveau, Franklin Corriveau & Sara Mitchell, Belinda Glover and Bud Stevens, Francis Corriveau, Fabian & Shari Corriveau, Freeman & Seneca Corriveau, Bethany & Eli Mann. Fernand was blessed with a great many grandchildren & great grandchildren. He leaves behind countless nieces & nephews & extended family.
He was predeceased by his wife Beverley, their son Felix and 13 siblings.

Memorial Services will be held May 4, 2019 @ 11:00 at the Bethel Alliance Church, Walkers Mills Rd, Bethel.
