Rachel Ruokolainen

Rachel Ruokolainen, 75 of West Paris, died January 7, 2025 in Auburn. She was born in Auburn February 21, 1949 the daughter of Everett Chase and Marion (Small) Chase, and attended local schools
Rachel was an avid gardener, loved birds, all wildlife especially her cats. She was a homemaker most of her life and was married to the love of her life Nestor Ruokolainen for 57 years and raised 4 daughters- Lisa Ruokolainen of Hartford, Karen Waterhouse of Norway, Angela Morrison of West Paris and Jennifer Ruokolainen of Oxford whom all survive her as well as a brother Randall “ Randy” Chase of West Paris; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Private family burial services will be held in the spring at Wayside Cemetery, West Paris.
