Wyman Phillip Huston born March 25, 1944 in Perham, Maine died February 7, 2024 at his residence after a long illness. He loved family gatherings; taking trips to the ocean, mountains and traveling the USA.
Wyman had worked at the New England Sanitarium Hospital in Stoneham, Mass., where he met his wife Marilyn Harlow. They married July 11, 1965 at Woodstock S.D.A. church and for 20 plus years he worked at Penley Brothers of West Paris. He lived 9 years in Colorado Spring, CO. Wyman had worked for his brother Quentin Huston at his machine shop, an accident in 1998 made his decision to retire. He was always wanting to help someone out if he knew of a need. He was a dear husband of 58 ½ years with a great sense of humor, a joy to be with.
He loved his children dearly- Cindi and Steve. Traveling around telling them he “helped build whatever building he spoke about, and had his fun. He was so happy when his grandchildren were in his life.
He was predeceased by his mother Nellie Huston; sisters Clyda Bentzinger, Mary Luce, Charlotte Berry and Menelva Crawford; brothers Gary Huston, and Quentin Huston.
He leaves behind his wife Marilyn of Bryant Pond; daughter Cindi Bragg of South Paris and Cindi’s sons Nicholas Bragg of Tenn and Shawn Bragg of South Paris; his son Steve Huston of Bryant Pond; his daughter Kylie Deitrick of Bryant Pond, son Derek Huston of Bryand Pond, step daughters Elaine Arentz and Lakyn Houck of Pa, and six great grandchildren Myah, Daisy, Hayden, Rose, Emma and Ainsley; sisters Hester Haus of Georgia and Lovella Harlow of West Paris and a brother Gerals Huston of Brunswick; many nieces and nephews.
He loved the Lord and wants to see his family again. He was a member of the Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served as Head Deacon for many years.
Memorial Services will be held at the Oxford Seventh-day Advent Church, Fore Street Oxford.
An Advocate for Christion Education, Memorials may be made to Forestdale School, So. Woodstock, Maine or to Pine Tree Academy, Freeport, Maine
