Frank Bragg, 66 of Hartford, died in Portland on August 11, 2021. He was born in Lewiston on February 14, 1955 to Tom and Iva Bragg. Frank went to Sumner and Buckfield schools and had worked as a skidder operator and cutting trees most of his adult life. In later years he worked tending blueberries, raspberries and delivered them to local stands.
Frank always had a joke to tell and made-up names for people he knew. He loved children and kept them in laughter. He enjoyed feeding birds and animals, as well as taking pictures of things around him and especially getting and giving hugs.
Frank is survived by sisters Rosemary Henderson and her husband Ed; Helen Jordan; Marie Curtis and her husband Al; Violet Enman and Jenny Clark and her husband Robert. Brothers David Bragg and wife Brenda and Chris Bragg and wife Erin as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt Jody Trenoweth and his significant other Nancy Bedard.
Frank was predeceased by brothers Eddie, Dicky, Tommy, and younger siblings James, Joyce and Beryl.
The family wishes to thank the Oncology Center at CMMC for the 5 years he couragesly battled cancer; his Doctors- Dr Erickson, Dr Lee, Dr Jensen and his family Dr. Peter Harbage.
Graveside services will be held September 18th at 11AM at Elmwood Cemetery, Sumner followed by a get together at East Sumner Congregational Church.
